About Posgraduate Symposium on Ageing 2017

Introduction

With a focus on aging research, the Postgraduate Symposium on Ageing 2017 is a two-day meeting encouraging postgraduate students from any discipline to present, dialogue, and learn about current research on processes, experiences, and systems related to ageing. It also provides an opportunity and platform for postgraduate students and researchers  to networking across disciplines and professions, initiate trans-departmental collaborations, and engage in integrative conversations on ageing research. The symposium is devoted to discuss latest updates and research findings, emerging and re-emerging issues, challenges and opportunities on ageing and old-age.

Objectives

  1. To provide students an opportunity to showcase their research work
  2. To develop the presentation skills
  3. To establish opportunities for inter-professional collaboration and networking on future projects related to ageing
  4. To disseminate the ageing research to fellow postgraduate students, researchers, stake holders etc.
  5. To update the participants on the current research findings
